Hello friends,
I graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) with a degree in Doctor of Naturopathy and licensed to practice in Ontario, Canada.
Previously, I worked in the medical aesthetics field and helped clients to overcome their skin issues. I also actively work with clients who have digestive, hormonal, stress and anxiety, and sleep-related concerns.
Furthermore, I completed a teacher training in "Emotional + Physical Balance through Meditation," which I integrated into my daily practice.
I am fluent in English and Korean.
As a naturopathic doctor, I try to empower, teach, and motivate my patients to implement changes.
I hope to meet you soon and look forward to working with you.
These are the six principles of naturopathic medicine and how I approach each one:
The Healing Power of Nature:The body is ordered and intelligent, therefore I identify and provide suggestions to remove obstacles to cure and to help facilitate this natural healing ability.
Treat the Cause: I identify and assist you to remove the underlying cause(s) of illness.
First Do No Harm: I utilize methods and substances which minimize the risk of harmful side effects.
Doctor as Teacher: My favorite role is to educate the patient and encourage self-responsibility for health.
Treat the Whole Person: I treat the individual by taking into account physical, mental, emotional, genetic, environmental, social and other factors.
Prevention: I emphasize disease prevention by assessing risk factors to disease and suggest appropriate interventions to prevent future illness.
Naturopathic Medicine is an integrative form of health care where natural therapies are utilized to restore and optimize health.
Naturopathic doctors are trained in many modalities such as:
